The Kemp Center for the Arts and the Bryant Edwards Foundation presents "Cowboy True", a celebration to honor working cowboys and the artwork that comes from their daily lives.
Meet the creators of the cowboy art and trappings at the Artists' Reception on Friday evening, April 5th, with Free Admission. Enjoy live fiddle music, light appetizers and drinks at the cash bar saloon. Bid on items at the Silent Auction complete with charming artwork and items with a cowboy flair! Be sure and put your name in the drawing for a fun getaway package to Apache Casino!
Saturday, April 6th, stroll through the MPEC J.S. Bridwell Agricultural Center to see all of the cowboy art on display from 10:00am-5:00pm withFree Admission. Special music will give you a taste of the cowboy life and Silent Auction items will be open for bidding. On Saturday, register to win a Wildcatter Ranch getaway package.
Join us on Saturday evening as we round up the weekend with a Steak Dinner & Auction. Tickets to this evening event are $50.00 per person or a table of eight for $300.00. Prairie Moon will serenade you during dinner then the Auction opens up showcasing the artwork of the Cowboy True artists. After the Auction, stick around and dance the night away to the sounds of the Lone Star Troubadours!
Cowboy True will take place at the J.S. Bridwell Ag Center on Burnett Street.
Daytime events are free to the public. The Saturday night dinner and auction are $50 per person.
