Nestled between apartments on Louis J. Rodriguez Drive, on MSU campus, you'll find the old Christ Academy building, formerly known as The Episcopal Day School. The building was aquired by MSU in 2009 and sat empty until 2014 when regents decided to use part of the property as new offices for the university's football coaches.
Now, according to TRN, MSU President Suzanne Shipley has announced that the Burns Chapel will be renovated using $100,000 from the President's Excellence Circle.
This renovation will only further the Burns family's history with MSU as Mr. and Mrs. Burns personal Christmas display went on to become the MSU-Burns Fantasy of Lights.
The venue will be used for ceremonies and small performances.
