Late last week roughly 45 thousand cans of Budweiser made the 125 mile journey from Fort Collins, Colorado to Colorado Springs with the "driver" monitoring from the comfort of the semi's sleeper; only taking the wheel while on the highway on/off ramps.
Otto, a subsidary of Uber, is working to make self-driving technology more wide-spread in the trucking industry to increase safety and cut costs; it would allow the trucks to run 24/7.
