Trick-or-Treaters will head out into the streets in droves this evening in search for candy and goodies.
However, the holiday can pose dangers when precautions aren't taken. The WFPD suggests parents make a plan with their trick-or-treaters and know where they are going and have a way to keep in touch; if the parents aren't going along, that is.
If your child is wearing a dark costume be sure they have a flashlight or something reflective on.
Drivers will also need to be aware this evening. Go slower, eliminate distractions and be extra aware of kids being out and about.
Have a happy and safe Halloween!
